This paper reviews the safety monitoring systems, bridge safety assessment methods, and hesitant fuzzy set theories at home and abroad, and presents a novel bridge safety monitoring and evaluation method based on hesitant fuzzy set, which has greatly significance to scientific research. Through multi-scale estimation and Butter Worth (BWorth) filtering, the structural response signals were identified and extracted under car load and crowd load. Then, a mathematical model was established for bridge safety monitoring and evaluation based on hesitant fuzzy set.
