The coronavirus disease was discovered in 2019 (COVID-19) and was eventually declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a global pandemic on March 11, 2020. This study aims to determine the correlation of Dust Storm Detection (DSD) index from the Fengyun-4A (FY-4A) data, NO2 ground observations, and daily positivity rate of COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila and predict the confirmed daily cases of COVID-19 using the established correlations.
