Objective: To determine the frequency of thyroid disorders in patients of type II diabetes mellitus at Pak Emirates Military Hospital Rawalpindi. Study Design: Cross sectional analytical study. Place and Duration of Study: The study was conducted at Pak Emirates Military Hospital Rawalpindi, from Jul 2017 to Jun 2018. Material and Methods: The study focused on patients with type-II diabetes mellitus presenting to outpatient department of Pak Emirates Military Hospital, Rawalpindi. Ages ranged from 30 years to 70 years and patients who had a previous co-existing thyroid disease or taking drugs that affect thyroid function were excluded.
