We study a rotating black hole with anisotropic matter and electromagnetic fields. We show that the electromagnetic field has the same form as the corresponding one in the Kerr-Newman geometry. The reason is that the electromagnetic field does not interact directly with the additional anisotropic matter field. We also mention energy extraction mechanisms from the black hole.Comment: 12 pages. This article is prepared for the proceedings of the 17th Italian-Korean Symposium for Relativistic Astrophysic
