BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Colonization of helicobacter pylori bacteria on the surface of the gastric epithelium causes acute and chronic inflammatory process. The reason why Helicobacter pylori cause different gastroduodenal diseases and why some people with helicobacter infection develop peptic ulcer is not clear.
