BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Postpartum depression is a common and social disability that effects on mother, infant and family. More than half of the mothers experience symptom of depression and about 10-15 percent of them progress to depression disorder. This study was done to evaluate the frequency of postpartum depression and its related factors in women who referred to health care center in Kermanshah, Iran.METHODS: In this cross sectional study, 330 women who referred to hearth care center in Kermanshah for primary care after delivery were evaluated for depression symptoms.
