In this paper the internal validity of an instrument designed to discover the constraints and opportunities that influence the teamwork of faculty lecturers is presented. As a basis of organisational work and a means for knowledge creation, teamwork requires a context that promotes the effectiveness of teaching teams. Methodology The methodology used has been a non-experimental transectional correlation design to describe the relationship between the variables and measure-analyse the association between them. The instrument used is part of a wider questionnaire based on five-level Likert items.
