The aim of this curricular activity consists in the organization of an annual day for early detection of hyperglycemia. This is accomplished by working groups of fifth-year Biology degree students from the Molecular Pathology course. The activity is developed in collaboration with a local Diabetes Association, which will coordinate with the University and with all the technical, logistical and staff requirements needed for the event. The educational purposes of this initiative are diverse and extend to the various fields of a good integral training that renders highly skilled students.
