Abstract Interacting with the Medical Humanities: Versions of the Body focuses on the student's initiation to the physical body. It is the second of eight units that explore different aspects of the opportunities and challenges of the doctor-patient relationship. The web-based project uses art, literature, video and audio skits, and interviews to explore the art of medicine. Though geared primarily towards first- and second-year medical students, this unit offers many materials that can be incorporated into clerkships and residency lectures that can also drive home teachable moments.
