ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH MERGER DAN AKUISISI (STUDI PADA PERUSAHAAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI ISSI TAHUN 2013-2017)

The objective of this study is to analyze the comparison of the company's financial performance before and after mergers and acquisitions, in companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for the period 2013-2017. Financial performance variables are proxied by financial ratios, namely ROA, ROE, TATO, CR, DAR, and DER. The research sample was 12 companies that carried out mergers and acquisitions between 2013-2017 which were collected using the purposive sampling method. Hypothesis analysis technique using Paired Simple t-test with SPSS Statistics 25. The results showed that the company's ROA, ROE, and TATO financial ratios experienced a significant increase between before and after mergers and acquisitions, while the CR financial ratios did not experience a significant increase, and the financial ratios of DAR and DER did not experience a significant decrease between before and after mergers and acquisitions. The increase in the financial ratios of ROA, ROE, and TATO shows the company has succeeded in achieving the motive of accelerating growth and increasing sales after mergers and acquisitions. Meanwhile, no increase in CR and no decrease in DAR and DER indicates the company has not succeeded in achieving the motive for increasing liquidity and expanding funding sources after mergers and acquisitions
