PRESERVASI KOLEKSI DI DINAS PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KEARSIPAN KABUPATEN MAGELANG

This study aims to determine the policies, activities and constraints of collection preservation activities at the Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Magelang. The method used is descriptive qualitative by taking six informants including four librarians and two supporting staff of Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Magelang. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the collection preservation policy at the Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Magelang was based on a Decree and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that had been made from the library sector.
