PENGARUH DOSIS PUPUK KASCING BERBAHAN DASAR BLOTONG TEBU TERHADAP TANAMAN SELADA (Lactuca sativa) DAN PAKCOY (Brasicca rapa)

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa) and Pakcoy (Brasicca rapa) are horticultural commodities that have good prospects and commercial value. The increasing population of Indonesia and the increasing awareness of the population on nutritional needs have led to an increase in the demand for vegetables. Almost the entire population of Indonesia (97.29%) consumes vegetables, but the amount of vegetable consumption is still half of what is recommended by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), some of the population consumes 173 grams of fruit and vegetables per day, which is lower than the nutritional adequacy rate (RDA). ) which is recommended at 400 grams per capita per day (BPS Data, 2016). The tools used in this study include a 30x15 polybag, oven, meter, bucket, measuring cup, gembor, hoe, measuring cup, used sack, treatment label paper, ruler, stationery and others. The materials used in this study included 2 types of lettuce seeds, namely lettuce (Lactuca Sativa), and Pakcoy (Brassica Rapa), vermicompost fertilizer, pesticides, insecticides and water. The design used in this study is the Nistit design with 2 factorials. The first factor is the dose of vermicompost-based vermicompost (D) which consists of D0 = 0 tons/ha (control), D1 = vermicompost 125 gr/tan (2.5 tons/ha), D2 = vermicompost 250 gr/tan (5 tons/ha), D3 = vermicompost 375 gr/tan (7.5 tons/ha), D4= vermicompost 500 gr/tan (10 tons/ha). The second factor is the abbreviated type of plant (T) consisting of T1 = Pakcoy Plant, T2 = Lettuce Plant. So that there were 10 treatment combinations and repeated 3 times so that the number of plants used was 150 plants then observed every 5 days the observation variables included plant height, number of leaves, plant wet weight, plant dry weight, root wet weight, dry weight root and root length. Based on the results of the analysis of variance, it is known that the dose of vermicompost fertilizer gave significant interaction results on all types of parameters for observing the number of leaves, plant height, root length, plant wet weight, plant dry weight, root wet weight, and root dry weight. The dose of vermicompost fertilizer affects the growth of lettuce and pakcoy plants. The best dose is at a dose of D4 which is 10 tons/ha or 50 g/tan based on the ANOVA table and a 5% BNJ follow-up test. The more vermicompost fertilizer given, the bigger the plant.
