Staphylococcus aureus is one of the most common opportunistic pathogens in humans and several animals. Some strains can form a biofilm, which is related to chronic diseases. Green Propolis are used frequently in alternative medicine. Several studies have demonstrated the chemical similarities between Green Propolis and its botanical source Baccharis dracunculifolia. This study evaluated the antibacterial profile of the hydroalcoholic extracts of Green Propolis and Baccharis dracunculifolia against S. aureus.
