PENERAPAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN AGAMA HINDU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SMP NEGERI 2 KUTA

Learning systems with the latest models and effective is needed in improving learning achievement particularly in view again in the Hindu religious education. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Kuta in Class IX D ability of students to the material Hinduism is quite low. The purpose of this action research was to determine whether the learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning can increase the activity and student achievement in learning Hinduism. The research data was collected by using observation and learning achievement test. While the data analysis using descriptive analysis for both data for the qualitative and quantitative data. The results obtained from this study is a participatory discussion can increase the activity and student achievement in learning Hinduism. This is evident from the results obtained in pre-action value of learning achievement: 15 students with grades below KKM (80), 11 students with an average value KKM (80), and 8 students with grades above KKM (81 upwards); Then increase the cycle I, with the value of learning achievement: 2 students with assessed under KKM (79), 8 students with an average value KKM (80), and 22 students with grades above KKM (81ke top ). The conclusion of this study is the learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning can increase the activity and learning achievement.Keywords: Model CTL, and Learning Achievemen
