Didaticmaterials are important strategies for the construction of geographic reasoning and can be used both in the school environment and as a tool aimed at raising awareness and environmental education in conservation units. Rio Grande do Sul is one of the Brazilian states with less protected areas coverage and 52% of them do not have any effective management policies. The Camaquã State Park is an integral protected area created in March 12th of 1975. So far, it does not have a management plan, land regularization or environmental education actions.
