La presente investigación analiza las relaciones entre el ejecutivo y el legislativo en el Perú en el período 2006-2020, caracterizado por un marcado presidencialismo parlamentarizado y un elevado multipartidismo. En este ciclo, se sucedieron tres mandatos presidenciales pero ocupados por seis jefes del Estado, dada la creciente inestabilidad y choque entre el ejecutivo y el congreso (unicameral). Se destaca la ausencia de coaliciones de gobierno y de mayorías oficialistas, así como la preeminencia de gabinetes apartidarios, lo que podría haber afectado la falta de compromiso por parte de los actores políticos.
