Hubungan Status Gizi Dengan Kesegaran Jasmani Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 02 Kerumutan Kabupaten Pelalawan

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship of nutritional status yo the level of physical fitness in class VIII in junior high school 02 Kerumutan Kabupaten Pelalawan. The method of this research is correlational analysis using product moment correlation and coefficient of determination. The population in this studi is male students class VIII in junior high school 02 Kerumutan kabupaten pelalawan totaling 17 people. The sampling technique in this study is sampling technique, and not the entire population is sampled, thus the number of samples in this study is only students male class VIII in junior high school 02 Kerumutan 17 people. These results indicate that there is on correlation between nutritional status and physical fitness level class VIII in junior high school 02 Kerumutan Kabupaten Pelalawan, but the nutritional needs of the students in the activity energy sources still have a contribution, because without energy the student would be unable to conduct day-to today, it is because the value of r count is smaller when compared with the results of the r table. r_count -616 < 0.482 r_table at significance level of 5%. Donation nutritional status based on the coefisient of determination is 37.9%
