Optimism is needed by students in working on the thesis because with optimism students can see the difficulty in working on a thesis with positive thoughts so as to provide strength for themselves in the face of difficulty working on thesis. Patience is one of the factors that can influence optimism. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between patience with optimism in students who are working on the thesis.
