Peranan Dinas Penanaman Modal, Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Tenaga Kerja Dalam Meningkatkan Penanaman Modal di Sektor Pangan Komoditi Sagu Di Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti

The fundamental consideration of this research is Meranti Islands Regency is the largest sago producer in Indonesia. About 50% of national sago demand is supplied from Meranti Islands Regency. However, the potential of sago commodity in the District of Meranti Islands have not been fully utilized by the Regional Government through the Dinas Penanaman Modal, Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Dan Tenaga Kerja. This study aims to determine the roles and obstacles of the Dinas Penanaman Modal, Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Dan Tenaga Kerja In Increasing Investment In Sago Food Commodity Sector In Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti. The type of this research is qualitative with key informant 6 person consisting of regional apparatus and other institution related to Sago management in Meranti Islands Regency. Types and data of primary and secondary data. Techniques of collecting data through interviews, observations and documentation are then analyzed based on the concepts of roles that are correlated with the tasks and functions of Dinas Penanaman Modal, Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Dan Tenaga Kerja. The results of the study found that the role of Dinas Penanaman Modal, Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu Dan Tenaga Kerja in increasing investment in sago food commodity sector In Meranti District District in the category of quite a role. Obstacles encountered include regional regulation, inter-regional coordination / coordination, infrastructure and funding as an inhibiting factor of infrastructure.
