Erectile dysfunction (ED) impacts many men and their partners. ED is a symptom caused by organic, inorganic, psychological, and mixed etiologies. The first-line therapy for ED is phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors (PDE5-I), and many providers limit themselves to its use without implementing other therapeutic options to supplement ED therapy. Clinicians should continue focusing on the underlying cause of ED while concurrently improving erectile function. Implementing other adjuncts can help the patient achieve a firmer erection and improve his and his partner’s sexual wellness.
