PEMODELAN PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI NEGARA ASEAN MENGGUNAKAN REGRESI DATA PANEL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dugaan model regresi panel yang cocok untuk menganalisis faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara ASEAN. Pendugaan model didasarkan dari data yang diperoleh melalui situs World Bank tahun 2008 – 2019 untuk negara-negara yang tergabung dalam ASEAN. Menggunakan metode regresi data panel, dilakukan pemilihan model antara model common effect, model fixed effect dan model random effect. Model yang paling cocok dengan data yang digunakan adalah model fixed effect dengan pengaruh acak dari individu. Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari nilai tukar, investasi asing langsung, ekspor, impor, tingkat inflasi, dan pembentukan modal tetap bruto. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai tukar, investasi asing langsung, ekspor dan nilai pembentukan modal tetap bruto memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi negara ASEAN yang digambarkan melalui Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB). Sedangkan tingkat inflasi memiliki pengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap PDB di negara ASEAN. This study aims to determine the alleged panel regression model that is suitable for analyzing what factors influence economic growth in ASEAN country. The model estimation is based on data obtained through the World Bank website in 2008 – 2019 for countries that are members of ASEAN. By using the panel data regression method, the model is selected between the common effects model, the fixed effect model and the random effect model. The model that best fits the data used is the fixed effect model with random effects from individuals. The independent variables used in this study consist of exchange rates, foreign direct investment, exports, imports, inflation rates, and gross fixed capital formation. This study shows that the exchange rate, foreign direct investment, total exports and the value of gross fixed capital formation have a significant influence on ASEAN economic growth which is described by Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Meanwhile, inflation have a negative but not significant effect on GDP in ASEAN country
