Context: To study the demographics and clinical profile of patients with acute pulmonary embolism (PE) and impact of management as per risk stratification on outcome of patients with acute PE. Materials and Methods: Prospective observational study of demographics, clinical profile, risk stratification, management, and outcome of patients presenting with acute PE from August 2016 to July 2017. Results: One hundred and fifty patients who were detected to have acute pulmonary thromboembolism with a mean age of 45.08 years, with 70% being males, were included in the study.
