Diabetic foot refers to the foot with a constellation of pathologic changes affecting the lower extremity in diabetics, often leading to amputation and/or death due to complications such as infection, ulceration and destruction of deep tissue. A project of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing clinics for diabetic foot was officially approved in October, 2017, and a combination of evidence-based nursing by Best Practice in the Assessment and Management of Diabetic Foot Ulcers and Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques was generated for the nursing and health education interventions on target patients
