University students are living today in an unprecedented socio-psychological situation due to the impact of COVID-19. Various negative emotions have been experienced as a result of this. Attention to this problem is of vital importance for the training of these future professionals, however, in interviews with the teachers, it was found that they have insufficient preparation for such professional performance. To mitigate this insufficiency, it is proposed to develop a methodological procedure that allows the development of the emotional autonomy of university students during the teaching-learning process, which will improve the preparation of teachers aimed at attending to the emotional problems of their students in times pandemic.
