Organizations need employees who are willing to exceed their formal job requirements. Exceeding formal job requirements is referred to as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Theoretical evidence reveals the relationship of OCB in enhancing the performance of employees. OCB among teachers is crucial as it results in enhancing their performance that reflects in the performance of students. The study explores the impact of OCB among selected higher secondary school teachers of Government, Government aided and private schools in the districts of Erode and Tirupur of Tamilnadu, India.
