Aim : To evaluate sensory neural hearing loss in hypothyroid children.Material and methods:We undertook this prospective observational study which includes patients presented with hypothyroidism to the department of ENT and Paediatrics in Mahaveer Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. All children were planned for hearing evaluation during period of June 2020 to November 2021, total 32 patients of age group 1 to 18 years were taken for the study.Results: All subject showed type A graph in impedance audiometry and elevated acoustic reflex threshold in ipsilateral and contralateral ear as compared to control group.
