The aim of this paper is to find out whether the country of origin of the selected products has an influence on the consumption behaviour of Generation Y representatives and, if so, how strong this influence is compared to other product attributes. Specifically, the influence of the country of origin is examined in the Czech market, in the product category of alcoholic wines. The results of the work may be of benefit to entrepreneurs and marketers who are in this product category and in the market or who plan to enter it. The results of the thesis answer a total of three research questions, using the focus group method, a questionnaire survey and an experiment.
