This paper presents the comparison of monosyllabic, two-syllabic, three-syllabic and four-syllabic structures of Myanmar and Chinese’s onomatopoeia syllable structure. Because of the different cultures, nationalities and environments, the imitated sounds are different between the two languages which make the Myanmar students studying Chinese Language and Chinese students studying Myanmar Language. This paper will help language learners to overcome the difficulties by comparing the different structures of onomatopoeia
