Research on activated carbon of corn cobs as an additive to ceramic filter membranes in reducing the concentration of remazol red batik liquid waste has been carried out. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of activated carbon corn cobs activated using H3PO4 on the ceramic filter membrane on membrane porosity and its ability to reduce the concentration of remazol red dye in batik liquid waste. The filter membrane used is made of clay with the addition of corn cobs activated carbon with various variations, namely 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%. The tests carried out included the ash content test, the porosity test, the dye concentration test with a UV-vis spectrophotometer, and the COD test. SEM-EDX characterization was car...
