Research on the use of rice husks as an additive for ceramic filter membranes in reducing the remazol red content of batik liquid waste has been carried out. This study aims to analyze the ability of phosphoric acid as an activator of rice husk charcoal, to correlate variations of rice husk activated carbon to the porosity test and to analyze the ability of rice husk activated carbon to decrease the concentration of remazol red dye in batik wastewater. The ceramic filter membrane used was made from clay and rice husk activated carbon which varied (0; 5; 10; 15; 20; 25 g). The results showed that phosphoric acid activator can cause metal to corrode and reduce the ash content of activated carbon with a lower value than the ash content of non-...
