PENGARUH PEMBERDAYAAN DAN PRODUKTIVITAS UMKM TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN PELAKU UMKM DI KOTA YOGYAKARTA

Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a fairly central role in the development of the Indonesian economy. The data mentioned by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises said that in 2018 MSMEs were able to contribute 58% of Indonesia's GDP and were even able to contribute 97% of the workforce. This condition proves that MSMEs have a very important role in economic growth. The development of MSMEs in DIY itself has proven very fast, especially the city of Yogyakarta which is able to be second in contributing to DIY's GRDP through UMKM in 2016. This study aims to (1) analyze the effect of empowerment on the welfare of MSME actors, (2) analyze the effect of empowerment on productivity of MSME, and (3) directly analyze the empowerment of MSME actors through the productivity of MSME in Yogyakarta City. Sources of data in this study use primary data and the results of the questionnaire were obtained as many as 100 MSME actors who are in Yogyakarta city. Sampling using random sampling method. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis and partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the analysis show that the MSME empowerment variable has a significant positive effect on the welfare variable of MSME actors, the MSME empowerment variable has a significant positive effect on the MSME productivity variable, and the empowerment variable does not have an indirect effect on the welfare variable of MSME actors through the productivity of MSMEs
