EVALUASI LAYANAN PERPUSTAKAAN UNTUK PEMUSTAKA BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS BERDASARKAN STANDAR IFLA CHECKLIST DI PERPUSTAKAAN NASIONAL RI

The purpose of this research is to identify the evaluation between the use of IFLA (Access to libraries person with disabilities – CHECKLIST) standars and services with special needs in the National Library of Indonesia. This research uses a combination method (mixed method) with a concurrent embedded with 80% using qualitative methods and 20% using quantitative methods. The result of this study were obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique will use two kinds, namely qualitative methods (using the theory of Miles and Huberman models) and also quantitative (using non-test because it uses standard measuring assessments from IFLA Access to libraries person with disabilities – CHECKLIST ). The data analysis using two kinds, namely the qualitative method (using the credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability test) and also quantitative (using the mean). The result showed that there are 3 standars containing 20 elements were evaluated that 4 elements was suitable to the standars which is on Communication and Services and also 16 elements are not suitable with IFLA CHECKLIST wich is on Physical Access, Media Format, and Communication Services. The result from this research is known that there are 3 parts of the IFLA standard consisting of 20 elements and also consisting of 109 standards, 71% are accordance with IFLA Access to libraries person with disabilities – CHECKLIST and 29% not yet complied with IFLA Access to libraries person with disabilities – CHECKLIST. The suggestion from researcher to the library is they need to improve and enhancing for accessibility in services for person with special needs which have not were not complied to the standars
