EVALUASI KLASIFIKASI ISLAM NOTASI 2X4 (SUBJEK FIKIH) PADA ADAPTASI PERLUASAN DDC SEKSI ISLAM DEPARTEMEN AGAMA REPUBLIK INDONESIA

This research is titled “The Evaluation of Notation 2X4 (Fiqh Subject) of the Indonesian Department of Religion’s Adaptation and Expansion of the Islamic Section of DDC”. This research intends 1. 2. To find out about the suitability of notation 2X4 of Fiqh subject of the Indonesian Department of Religion’s Adaptation and Expansion of the Islamic Section of DDC with the characteristics of a good classification and 3. To find out about the suitability of notation 2X4 with the development of Fiqh subject within the Indonesian Department of Religion’s Adaptation and Expansion of the Islamic Section of DDC. This research is a literary study (evaluation) that uses qualitative approach. Based on the results, it is found that 1. Knowing the basic principles in the preparation of fiqh subject in 2X4 notation in the the Indonesian Department of Religion’s Adaptation and Expansion of the Islamic Section of DDC, namely the use of commonly used terms, use of specific terms, use of Indonesian, use of the transliteration system, characteristics and format of the subject header list still has flaws. 2. Notation 2X4 of Fiqh subject is already based on a good classification, although it has several weaknesses as; a. Inclusive and comprehensive, the notation 2X4.133 of Qurban and Aqiqah subjects which explains about Qurban and Aqiqah do not belong to be placed within the same class for these two sciences do not have any correlation, b. Systematic, the subdisciplines of Ijma’ and Qiyas subjects in the notation 2X4.4 do not have any correlation, hence the order become unsystematic and the subjects belong to their own classes. C. Flexible, the researcher will add the notation 2X4.79 with the intention to provide opportunity or possibility for the next development of international law subject, d. Using clear definition, Notation 2X4.2 of Mu’amalat subject which means “exchange”, e. Relative index, subject which belongs to be in “Praying” subject is placed into “Fasting” subject, f. Auxiliary table, which is an auxiliary sub-division and area table. 3. The researcher considers adding notation 2X4.79 into the development of Notation 2X4 of Fiqh subject in the Indonesian Department of Religion’s Adaptation and Expansion of the Islamic Section of DDC. The researcher considers adding notation 2X4.79 with the intention of providing opportunity or possibility for the next development of international law subject. The results of this research need of a further development and evaluation of Islamic classification of Notation 2X4 (Fiqh subject) in the Indonesian Department of Religion’s Adaptation and Expansion of the Islamic Section of DDC
