This thesis is devoted to the study of the Landau equation. Firstly, we show a localization property of the pseudospectrum and estimates of the resolvent of the linearized Landau operator associated with the latter equation in the case of hard potentials and Maxwellian molecules. Secondly, we study the hydrodynamical limit of the Landau equation and we obtain a result of weak convergence towards the incompressible Navier-Stokes-Fourier system in the cases of hard potentials, Maxwellian molecules and moderately soft potentials.
