Hydrogen production from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) is one of the major pathway to achieve transition toward a zero-carbon emission energy model. The worldwide relentless growth of RES and the strong socio-political request for new policies to address climate change, demand a paradigm shift from controlled and centralized electricity generation to a variable, diffuse and decentralized system.
