The numerical method Conservation Element / Solution Element (CE/SE) has been developed at the beginning of the 90’s by NASA engineers. Its main feature is to not separate space and time resolution. The resolution of the Euler Equations is much more accurate than in other usual methods. The first objective of this PhD is to develop the 1D CE/SE in an Euler Equations resolution program, without source terms. Then, this scheme is validated through the analytical case of the shock tube. After that, the CFL insensitivity scheme is added, and we check that the non-reflective boundary conditions are working.
