Galingale Stem is the part of Galingale plant which underutilized so it has potential to be a composite (fiber board). Galingale Stem contains cellulose which can be use as a filler to produce composite (fiber board) with Recycled Polypropylene (Rpp) matrix. In the manifacture of composite (fiber board) is done by the process of extraction and hotpress by variying mass of fiber and matrix to know its effects on the quality of the fiber board based on JIS A 5905-2003.
