FINAL REPORT THE UNIQUENESS OF SONGKET MOTIFS IN PALEMBANG

The problem of this report is the uniqueness of songket motif that can attract the tourists to come to Palembang. The objective of this report is to tell to the readers what are the uniqueness of songket Palembang. The data were collected through interview to the songket shops. The data were analyzed by using theoritical frameworks developed by Sugiyono (2010:13), Kvale (1996:1) and Thomson (1999:1). The results show that there are many uniqueness of songket motif, there are from the shape and the color. The shapes are like flowers, animals and symmetric shapes. And the color is from the thread, it is dominant with red and gold colo
