Levels of Pb, Ni, Cr and Cd, in soil and fruits (Rubus idaeus - raspberry and Vaccinium myrtilus - blueberry ) at 26 locations in Montenegro were examined. Heavy metals content in the samples was determined by AAS method. In the soils, the content of heavy metals was below pollution threshold, except at one location (Kolašin region). In the berries, heavy metals content was mostly within normal range for plants and guideline values for fruits.
