This paper is addressing the technical advances in building's refurbishment introducing energy efficiency and RES -renewable energy sources. It has been shown hot BPS - Building Performance Simulation can be practically implemented in sustainable buildings design and redesign. The study of New Belgrade buildings block refurbishment by the optimization of building envelope/structure energy efficiency, and PV panels integration in building facade is also presented.
