The paper presents the review of several years of research of the use of slow decomposing fertilizer Scotts (Osmocote Exact) in the production of medicinal, aromatic and seasoning herbs seedlings. Basil, garden balm, lavender, sage, thyme, oregano, spearmint, echinacea, rosemary, pyrethrum and hyssop seedlings have been produced in containers (speedling system) and in pots (pot system) with the use of different doses of slow decomposing fertilizer. The obtained research results point to significant effect of slow decomposing fertilizer in the production of medicinal, aromatic and seasoning herbs.
