Robots play a critical role in our everyday lives, performing tasks as diverse as maintenance, surveillance, exploration in harsh environments, or search and rescue operations. Concerning the different environments where they operate, the submarine is one of those that has increased its activity the most. Nowadays, there are three types of robots: ROVs, AUVs and HROVs.
