KEBIJAKAN INKLUSI UNTUK KELOMPOK PENYANDANG DISABILITAS DALAM PILKADA SERENTAK DI KABUPATEN BLITAR

This study aims to explain the inclusion policy for persons with disabilities and how the impact of the inclusion policy that has been implemented by the KPU in Blitar Kabupaten on persons with disabilities during the simultaneous regional elections of Blitar Kabupaten 2020. This study uses narrative discriptive research methods with a qualitative approach and data collection techniques using interviews. , observation, and documentation. Which will then be carried out data collection, data presentation, data condensation, drawing conclusions. Disability Inclusion Policy is a decision taken by the government in the form of a rule or legislation with the aim of equality of disability rights and easy access for every individual with disability to participate in social activities. The results of this study explain that there was an implementation of inclusion policies by the KPU, namely the KPU held a program, limited direct socialization by inviting the disability community and indirect socialization through electronic media, then the KPU also chose disability as the election committee, namely PPK in Sutojayan and Talun .As for the impact of the Inclusion Policy in the form of positive and negative impacts, negative impacts are the intervention of others in making choices, the general public's bad response to persons with disabilities, lack of supporting facilities, lack of training to vote (reading braille) for blind voters, and lack of supporting from family . While the positive impacts are increased self-confidence, fulfillment of disability rights, no discrimination and feeling proud and appreciated
