PENGARUH BERBAGAI KONSENTRASI EKSTRAK TANAMAN BABANDOTAN (Ageratum conyzoides L.) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN JAMUR Candida albicans ATCC 10231 SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR BIOLOGI

The Babandotan plant (Ageratum conyzoides L.) is a plant in the Asteraceae family that is considered grass, but has many benefits.The plant babandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.) is one of the pharmaceutical plants because of active compounds such as Flavonoid, saponin, alkaloid, phenol, tannin, coumarin and terpenoid.These active compounds can be used as antifungals.This study aims to determine the effect of various extract concentrations of babandotan plants in inhibiting the growth of Candida albicans fungi. This research method uses the agar diffusion method (disc diffusion method). The concentrations of the extracts used were 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% with 96% ethanol solvent while the positive control used 2% ketoconazole.
