Study of the Socio-Economic Impact of the COVID-19 Crisis in Morocco

In late December 2019, the world is shaken by a pandemic caused by Covid-19 virus which has struck almost every continent without exception and claimed millions of lives. The health crisis caused by this pandemic was very quickly accompanied in several countries by a socio-economic crisis, in particular due to the disastrous implications of the confinement and the shutdown of activity in several economic sectors. Morocco, like almost all the countries of the world, is facing an unprecedented socio-economic scenario, dictated by the spread of the pandemic of the new coronavirus Covid-19. Through this paper, we will deepen an analysis of the various socio- economic effects caused by this crisis of COVID-19 at the national economy.
