This course conclusion work seeks to understand how the concepts of decoloniality, Afrofuturism and empowerment are presented in the transmedia universe The Gift and in the visual album Black is King, audiovisual productions by the singer Beyoncé. To achieve the proposed objectives, the term transmedia is conceptualized, as well as the terms decoloniality, Afrofuturism and empowerment. The results achieved are based on a systematic transmedia analysis of The Gift, composed of films, music albums and visual albums, which allowed us to understand how transmedia integrates this universe.
