¡No son 30 pesos, son 30 años! Chile (1989-2019). ¿Los fracasos de la transición y el modelo económico chileno?

From the perspective of the history of the present, this paper analyses some of the causes which led to the generalized unease that called into question the “successes” of the post-dictatorship in Chile. The paper addresses some of the processes which shaped a country which, at the end of the first decade of the 21st century, witnessed both the permanence and the emergence of important historical problems in the economic, social and political order which allow us to understand the broad demand for change summarized in the slogans “Chile woke up” and “It’s not about 30 pesos, it’s about 30 years”En este artículo analizamos desde la mirada de la historia del presente, algu-nas de las causas que desembocan en un malestar generalizado, que ponen en entredicho los “éxitos” del Chile postdictadura. Se abordarán algunos de los procesos que configuraron un Chile que al cerrar la primera década del siglo XXI evidenció tanto, la permanencia, como la emergencia de importantes problemas históricos en el orden económico, social y político, que permiten entender la amplia exigencia de cambio resumidas en las consignas del “Chile despertó” y “No son 30 pesos, son 30 años
