International audienceMany companies use free open-source software (FLOSS) in their business proposals. There are many case studies of open-source business models. Yet there is no comprehensive analysis articulating these different open-source models. This is this article's aim. Based on the business model framework, and the IS literature, we start from the needs of FLOSS to propose a typology of open-source business models.
