Localized transitions within the forbidden energy band have been used to describe a variety of luminescence behaviors for a wide range of materials. In this work, transformed analytical expressions based on the localized one trap one recombination-center (OTOR) model are derived to describe thermoluminescence (TL) glow peaks and linearly-modulated optically stimulated luminescence (LM-OSL) components. These expressions contain two geometric parameters describing the location of a peak/component that can be estimated directly from the curve.
