How can pupils of the same class live together when such differences in levels still exist between them ? This work of research explores precisely a differentiated pedagogical modality, which supports the heterogeneity of pupils in the same class, aiming to involve them in order to resolve a common task. This cooperative device is called tutoring between pupils. Nourished by theoretical contributions and data taken from the field on procedures mobilized by pupils, the study aims to look at the added value of this device on pupils learning and its effect on the task learners have to solve.
